Guild notice of meeting to receive nominations 2013

A Message to Members of Pacific Media Workers Guild, TNG-CWA Local 3951

All Local and unit officers of the Pacific Media Workers Guild, TNG-CWA Local 39521, are up for election.

Unit meetings will be held to ensure all members have a chance to nominate or seek nomination for office.

If any positions are contested, a mail-ballot election will be conducted in December.

All terms are for two years, starting Jan. 1, 2014.

Only members in good standing may vote, nominate candidates or stand for election. Please make sure your membership is current. If you have any doubts, contact your unit officer, shop steward, or contact the Local office at 415-421-6833 or guild@mediaworkers.org.

First Vice President: Lucy Flores

Vice President-CFI: Mike Ferreira

Vice President-California: Rick Knee (interim)

Vice President-Hawaii: Derrick DePledge

Secretary: Steve Stallone

Treasurer: Michelle Caplette (interim)

Unit chairs, vice chairs, unit secretaries and Representative Assembly delegates, and Convention and Sector officers and delegates, also will be up for election.

Together, we are building a dynamic, growing union of media workers, language professionals and union staff within CWA. Please take your membership rights and responsibilities seriously.
