Lucas Cruz is a member of the Pacific Media Workers Guild from the staff of the California Labor Federation. He and his family were severely impacted by the recent flooding in San Diego. Thankfully they are safe, but they’ve lost everything.
We’re asking all of you to support your Guild brother and donate to help him begin rebuilding.
Diamond Brandon, Lucas’s friend and colleague at the Fed, and a fellow Guild member, organized this GoFundMe to collect donations on his behalf. All proceeds will be used for immediate repairs to their home, rehousing the family, and replacing necessary personal items.
“He is an amazing father, husband, and lives to serve people in his community and more often than not out of his own pocket,” Diamond wrote in the GoFundMe. “He has been a tremendous friend to me in some of my hardest moments in life and I can’t sit back and not do everything I can to help him and his family while they fight to be strong and recover.”
